Christians Experiencing Great Loss Amid Ongoing Attacks
Kenya
A bomb planted by members of the al-Shabab Islamic terrorist group exploded on Feb. 28, killing seven and injuring more than a dozen others. This attack occurred after another recent attack on the predominantly Christian community where at least 13 people were killed and many homes were burned. “The attacks are to threaten and drive out the [Christians] … which will lead to minimizing of Christian presence,” a front-line worker said. “Please pray for all those who have lost their loved ones, homes and livelihoods. Pray for the Christian workers, that the Lord will keep them strong and they will know how best to respond to the situation. Pray that the believers in these areas will grow in their faith despite the threats.”
