Outreach Bases Plant Seeds for New Church Growth

Each Saturday in the mountains of Chiapas, hundreds of children from indigenous villages gather in Outreach Bases to hear a message from God’s Word, engage in fun activities, and receive a healthy meal. These Outreach Bases continue to flourish in spite of steady persecution in Chiapas. Because of the love shown to all of the children in these villages, not just the Christian children, entire families are coming to faith in Jesus, and churches are formed as each Outreach Base is a potential church plant. With VOM’s help, local believers are able to minister to their communities with Bibles, crafts, meals and Christian literature while working toward the long-term goal of becoming self-supporting through income generated from micro-businesses.
