Five Ways to Pray for Christians Driven from Their Homes in Africa.
When Christians in Africa are displaced from their homes because of their faith in Christ, we can support them by lifting them up in prayer. Here are five ways you can pray right now:
- Pray that God will provide for their needs, including food, shelter and clothing.
- Pray that they will have access to God’s Word, especially those whose Bibles were destroyed or who had to leave theirs behind when they fled.
- Pray that they will find fellowship with other Christians in their new location.
- Pray that their hearts will be filled with a strong sense of God’s presence, peace and comfort.
- Pray that they will know they are remembered, prayed for and supported by the global body of Christ.
You can also stand with Christians driven from their homes in Africa through a gift.
Your gift by midnight Saturday will help make twice the impact, through a challenge gift, to provide help and hope for persecuted Christians.
A generous friend has given $900,000 to help support Christians in Africa who have been displaced because of their faith in Christ. This friend has challenged others, like you, to donate an additional $900,000 by midnight Dec. 31 to help make twice the impact for our faithful brothers and sisters.
Will you help meet the challenge?
* Please give by midnight CST on Dec. 31 to be part of this unique challenge opportunity.
Your gift may be used to provide medical care, furnish temporary shelter, supply food or meet other needs.
It will also help provide Bibles and equip front-line workers who are proclaiming the gospel amid Islamic extremism in Africa.
